My son and I just returned from POR. I got sick 6 or so hours after eating at Boatwright's; clearly it was food poisoning and not the stomach bug. I began asking around and discovered that at least 18 people got sick in the same 6-12 hour range who ate at the food court and/or Boatwright's. When I asked at the front desk (twice) they denied that anyone else besides me got sick. Anyone else there that got sick on Wednesday/Thursday 4/1-4/2?

Thanks!

We stayed at POR from 3/28- 4/4. We ate at Boat Wrights. My 16 year old daughter got sick on Thursday morning but it was a cold...not stomach related. She was stuffed up and coughing a little. It ony lasted about a day and a half and it never kept her from visiting the parks. Sorry you all got sick....food poisoning or any stomach virus is surely one way to keep you stuck in your hotel room!!

Unfortunately no restaurant Disney or otherwise usually owns up to reported cases of food poisoning. My oldest daughter and I got food poisoning from a local BBQ place in our town and the manager insisted no other people had been sick....a week later it was in our local paper that 6 cases had been reported!!

Hope it didn't ruin your trip :goodvibes
