Anyone get August BCV points at 7 months?

Has anyone booked for early August yet at 7 months? I'm wondering if you were successful.

Depending what you are looking for, BWV and BCV are tough at 7 months during prime seasons. Everyone wants to stay at the Epcot-area resorts....

I booked at the 7 month window for June 18-24 with no problem. You can call member services and ask about availability. I would book day by day to be safe.

I don't know, you might get lucky. We don't like to go in the summer - it's too hot. And our kids are grown now so we don't have to worry about school schedules.

Early June or late August probably is easier because of school schedules. If kids have make-up snow days, it might be mid June before they even get out of school for summer break. And then some kids have to be back at school by mid August.

In 2003 (last time we tried for BCV), we were able to find availability at both BWV and BCV at 60 days out for the first week of August. We booked with BWV at that time. There was availability for each of these resorts in studio and 1 bedroom. We did not inquire about 2 bedroom at that time. The only resort that didn't have availability that time frame was VWL.

I got a studio late July at BCV at 5 months.

We got a 2-bedroom in May at 5 months. And we had our choice of dedicated or lock-off still.

I got a BCV 2 BR for mid August 2005 at the 7 month window. I had my choice of bed type for the 2nd bedroom also.

We actually gor 2BR at BCV at 7 months 4th of July week, so I would say chances are good.

We just changed a reservation from BWV to BCV in a studio for 7/30-8/11.

You will probably not have a problem. Just remember Florida, and a lot of the Southern states start school at the beginning of August, so a lot of the families are back home by then.
