Anyone from the Cleveland metro area?

DD and I will be staying in the Beachwood/Mayfield Heights area and I was wondering how far that is from the Cleveland Clinic and are there things to do. We usually stay downtown so I'm not familiar with this are at all. Thanks for any input.

It is about 20 minutes or so from the Clinic, not really far at all. In Beachwood is Legacy Village, which is a "lifestyle center" or an upscale mall. It has a Cheesecake Factory , Crate & Barrel and others. Across the street from there is Beachwood Mall which has Saks, Nordstroms and the like. It is on Cedar Rd at Richmond.

No movie theaters that I can think of. Just outside of the clinic on Mayfield Rd is Little Italy with some wonderful restaurants.

It is a nice area of town. Hope that helps
