Just wondering if anyone is flying out from Texas, south plains to be exact and have a really good price for a flight? Last year I got round trip tickets for 181.00, but I have not been able to even come close this year. I am looking for the best rate possible, as we have added 2 more passengers to our bill.

Is that near Lubbock? If so this may not help much unless you don't mind driving some. I live in Abilene and always fly out of DFW because that's where I find the best deals. I usually get Airtran from $82-$99 each way. I just noticed that Southwest flys out of Lovefield now and I found roundtrip for $149.00 not sure what dates you need though.

WOW out of where? That is a great rate. How far out is your trip? Im looking at July for mine.

I would sign up for their newsletter and they will let you know when they have good rates out, I think they release good rates on Tuesday and Thursday.

Thanks for the info. We will be flying out of DFW in December and did not even think to look at Air Tran. I HATE Southwest so i was looking at American. I will look at Air Tran now. THANKS!
