Anyone from New Jersey? (insired by the where in PA thread!)

I was at Hot Dog Johnnies on Monday. YUM YUM! Spent 11 years in Allamuchy, Warren Cty. Now in Sussex Cty.

But I'll always be a Brooklyn Girl at heart.

A Hot Dog Johnny DIS meet would be really cool Kallison. Although they just reopened Jimmy's on the Delaware hot dog stand in Phillipsburg after 20 or so years.

I can't believe I'm the only one so far (except one partial-Margate) I'm about 15 minutes outside of Atlantic City in Galloway.

mickeymousefan -- I lived in Burlington until 1985 (Moved to FL for college). Lived off of Salem Road in subdivision behind Pathmark/Stewarts. I come back and visit family every few years and everything always seems so different! It was a neat town to grow up in -- so much history!

Pandamom... I think the Pathmark has been gone from there for a while now and moved down RT 130.. What a small world. I live on Columbus Rd. We have only lived here for about 5 years (DH and I are former New Yorkers) but we really enjoy the beautiful waterfront the city has. Fortunately, they are also doing a lot of refurbishment to the older parts of the city, which really needs it.

Well a former Jersey Girl...

Born and raised in Cape May County...

Lived in Wildwood, Court House, and also in N. Cape May over the course of 21yrs.

Went to Lower Cape May Regional HS(Slower Lower as we were nicknamed.. )

Now live in Sunny FL

Geez Adam I never realized they closed it! Makes sense, I've been married 20 years, high school was probably the last time I drove past Jimmy's.

I grew up in Lincoln Park/Montville area...........DH is from Verona. We haven't lived there in years, but it's still home. We visit all the time, my whole family is there.
One day he will retire from the military, and we will build our dream house in Sussex Co. We have propety by lake Hopatcong.:sunny:

:scratchin When you guys wer talking about Hot Dog Johnnie's I was trying to remember where my dad used to take us for hot dogs...Jimmie's - right over the free bridge from Easton, right? We'd get dogs and chocolate milk - seems like a really weird combination now.

My mom was from NJ - Hunterdon County. I still have a bunch of relatives there in Bloomsbury, Pattonburg, Califon..and wherever my cousins all ended up. My uncles own school buses and a garage in West Portal? Jugtown Mountain? something like that...
