My grandparents who I have not seen in a while have retired to Boynton Beach , Florida. As you can see by my countdown clock we will be going to WDW soon and we would like to drive to see them for the day. I know it is about a 3 hour drive, but that's all I know.
They are elderly and I would rather go see them than have them do that drive to Orlando.
Poor things just had their car stolen too!

Is there anyone who can tell me about Boynton Beach? Good places to eat, things to see? Anything?

It will be me, DH, DD8, DD2 and DS9mos.

Thanks so much,

ill bump the thread. We went to boynton beach in 2000, they have a beach there but it wasn't all that great. I couldn't suggest a place to eat, we pretty much went to fort lauderdale every day which was like an hour drive (I think).

tricia.

I lived in the general area a long time. Can't think of anything outstanding there. I occasionally used to just go to the mall since some of the stores weren't in the mall in my town.

There is a decent restaurant on the Intracoastal up there somewhere. But I don't remember what street it's on or what it's called. But it is on a street that has a bridge across the Intracoastal. Ha! Sorry I'm not much help. There would probably be more interesting things in Ft. Lauderdale or in West Palm Beach.

I'm not familiar with Boynton. However, There is Butterfly World in Coconut Creek. It's probably about 35 minutes South of Boynton Beach, if you take the Turnpike. There is a water park called Quiet Waters in Deerfield Beach, you can take I-95 and take the 10th St. Exit which connects with the Sawgrass E-way. There is a smaller water park in Boca Raton which is closer to B. Beach. Your kids will probably enjoy those activities.
