Hi, Idon't want to cause a panic but I just wanted to give you all a heads up.Allegiant is stopping service out of my city on September 3.In our local paper today our city manager also stated that the service out of Pease was going to end soon as well. The company was quoted as saying that they have not made up their mind yet and they were unable to get a comment from Pease. Just wanted to let everyone know so they can at least have a back up plan in place, as many people here are quite upset and scrambling trying to find new flights on such short notice.

Looks like you're right....they don't seem to be taking any reservations for Portsmouth to Orlando after December 15th. :furious:

It's too bad they are pulling out of Worcester. I would have liked to be able to support them, but unfortunatley, their schedule was so limited it never fit into my travel plans last few trips.

I just got off the phone with Allegiant and they are refunding my money for the tickets in November. Now I have to wait for the money so that I can get a new flight. Hopefully, all the N/S flights are not gone. I think I am going to go out of Providence or Manchester on a different airline.

Good luck to all.

how did you even get through to them....they never answer their phone....so frustrating.......................UGH.....we are supposed to fly them from sanford to portsmouth oct 15....I need to know if they will be flying then or not

I was on hold for about 15 min before someone picked up the phone. The day before that I called it kept saying the lines were too busy due to the fly free to Vegas promotion. That ended yesterday so try again today.
Good Luck!!

I'm suprised they are doing this ...here in NY they have actually added summer flights and I just read tonight that they are addin extra days for December 06- January 07

Sorry I had to delete the URL before posting.

I read that too. We are leaving from Stewart next week. I,ve been checking everyday to make sure they are still going to be there.

Did everyone find out about them leaving through there local paper or did Allegiant contact them?

Southwest still has non-stops out of MHT for November. Decent prices too right now. $99 one way. The 8:00 p.m. flight has been getting DINGs recently for September, so I am hoping it gets DING'd in November and I get a credit for it. Good luck.

Looks like Allegiant will stay in Portsmouth, just with a few changes.

They will stop flying during the slow late summer/early fall period. That way they don't lose money on half-full planes.

Flights will start again in November and continue through the spring.

More details at the WCAX Channel 3 website. Sorry I don't have enough posts yet to put the url address in.

Nashua Teletrash also has an article this morning about Allegient staying in Pease. They are suspending summer/fall flights and when they resume they will be limited to two days a week. So it will still fly just on a reduced schedule.
