Anyone Fly Spirit Lately Out Of LGA?

The last time I flew them their check-in area was in another airlines terminal and they had a pen and paper system to check people in. I remember the line was hours long. Is it still like this? I'm just trying to figure out how early we should get there. The flight leaves at 7:55a.m.

We have and found it to be a very good experience. We usually get to the airport about an hour before takeoff. But with Spirit, we were there 1 1/2 hours before and we thought it was too much time. The line was short and we were processed very quickly.
But you may not be comfortable giving yourself such little time.
I really believe 2 hours would be more then enough time.

We flew them in Sept. They are in a main terminal at LGA. It is the same one with AirTran. I saw a couple others, but I don't remember who. The check in was fine, no long wait. The counter at the gate had no working PA system. There were terrible wind delays & it was difficult to communicate with them. If you want food & magazines, be sure to get it before you go through security. There is just a very small counter near the gates. And it is expensive.
