Anyone flown with Airtran before?

We live in kansas city and are thinking of going the 30th of NOV to DEC 14th and found airtran to be a good price and i was wondering if any of you had flown them before and if so what kind of experience you had. They sound like a nice airline and seem to have a really good record. I looked at jetblue but they dont fly out of here so thats out.

We just flew Airtran out of Phila, they were great! We left a bit early on our way to Orlando, unfortunately when we got to Orlando there was another jet at our gate and we had to wait. On the flight home we left about 5 minutes early and got in 20 minutes ahead of schedule.
The crew was very nice, we had 2 cookies for our snack and when we ordered our soda we got the whole can. Our last few trips with US Air we only got a glass full.
I would fly Airtran again with no qualms.

We LOVE AirTran! We fly Flint, MI to Orlando non-stop and can't beat the prices. The planes were fine and the staff was very nice. I've never encountered bad flight attendants though

Airtran is a fine airline and a good deal. Just about all their planes are no more than 5-6 years old. They fly a nonstop Dayton to Orlando which we took last year and we're doing it again this year. Not even waiting for Southwest prices!

I just booked with airtran and got 'q' class tickets. They are e-tickets. They say I can't get seating assignments until check-in. Can I do this 24 hours in advance from my computer? I booked thru travelocity-has anyone else done this and how does it work?
