Hi all,

All booked for next year flying from Heathrow (i know, i know, not the best airport in the world) with Air France.

Has anyone flown with Air France before, what your experiences??? Everyone i seem to speak to all have negative things to say, eg delays, lost luggage even cancellations

Just wondered what everyones thoughts were??

When I flew we were delayed 1.5 hours going out due to fog & coming back we were delayed 6+ hours due to fog we were meant to land at 8.30pm and landed at 2.30am! as it was the same plane used for the route once it was delayed in the morning it couldn't make up the time. The problem we had was that no one would tell us what was going on the whole time we were waiting.

My dad was picking us up from Heathrow but we coudn't tell him anything as we didn't know anything.

Even the cabin crew were discusted with how we were treated and they were encouraging us to complain, not that it got us anywhere.

I'll let you know how it goes. I am flying with Air France from Rome to Paris on Dec 3rd.. hope they are on time!

We've flown with Air France from Manchester to CDG several times and never had any problems. We would use them again

If you can hang on for 4 months, 1 week and 6 days......i will let you know as that's who i'm going with! :goodvibes

We're flying with them for the first time in October and I'll be booking for next summer in a couple of weeks.

I'll be flying Air France LAX-CDG in a few weeks to go to DLP. I'll let you know about the experience when I return!

we flew with them in jan from birmingham to cdg and it was great , we've just booked again for oct.

the bits i liked was :

they were very organised and got eveyone on the plane early so they could leave dead on time , as you were getting on there were loads of free newspapers and magazines all the good ones all FREE!!!!!!!!!!as it was a sunday i picked up loads to read on the plane.

also we had a drink and crissants or sandwichiches included in the price,

the only downside was it is such a tiny plane only 60 people on it you look behind you (if at front of plane )and theres the back right behind you , strange after being on a huge one to florida last!

hope we'll be as impressed with them in oct

I've flown with Air France a few times, and I must say i prefer them to BA - marginally better to be honest, but in general I found them really pleasant, helpful, and they made the whole trip smooth. also - the food onboard is much better than on BA flights - though I really miss my cooked breakfast on flights :'(
