We booked a trip to Mexico and are flying Swift Air from Miami. We are only taking carry on luggage. Swift Air's website says that among other things we are not allowed to pack the following in our carry ons:
*creams or lotions
*hair styling gel
*hair detangler
*shampoo
*lip gel
*liquid foundation
*mascara
*Makeup remover
*mouthwash
*Shampoo
*conditioner
*toothpaste

There is no mention of the 3 oz. rule. Anybody have any experience with this airline? Is that really the rule or do they mean 3 oz or less in the quart size bag?

I can however pack: tweezers, nonrealistic toy weapons, Nail clippers, nail file, scissors, safety razors, personal lubricant, knitting needle, eyeglass repair kit including screwdrivers, corkscrews, cigar cutters. Seems about right.

i dont think the airline can restrict on what you bring. Security however, is a different story. should be the general TSA rule that you know ie 3 oz rule.

Swift Air is a charter airline. Their rules appear to just be repeating TSA rules; you need to follow TSA guidelines using the 311 rule for liquids.

BTW, you are flying Swift Air, not Swiftair, which is a Spanish registered airline.

Thanks! That's what I thought (the 311 rule) but it isn't worded very well on their website.

Richmond282, I was looking for this answer too. The way it looked on their site was that on Swift Air you can't take any liquids even if it's in the quart size bag with 3oz bottles. While TSA rule was 311 liquid. So I was thinking that Swift had their own rule of no liquid in a carry on. Someone said that I shouldn't be flying because I didn't know.
