Anyone flown out of Boston on Delta recently?

I was just checking the Delta site and the estimated time for getting thru security during peak hours (which is when we are going) is approx. an hour. How quickly or slowly are security lines moving at Logan (Delta)? I hope it's not an hour!

we flew out saturday april13th, it was an evening flight and there were absolutely no lines at all!!

I flew out of Logan on a 10:00am on a Friday, and the line was horrible. It went half way down the terminal. Very long. If you are a nervous traveller like me, I'd suggest giving yourself an hour to get through security, just so you don't have to stress about it. I find that Logan is a lot less organized than the other airports I've been to--there just isn't enough room in the terminals for the long lines.

If this helps we fly Delta out of LGA, and like the other post , there is very little room for long lines. Sometimes the two lines almost meet in the middle.

Do yourself a big favor, allow extra time. If you miss your flight the additional time you spend in the airport is going to be alot more than an hour.


We flew 3 times last year Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Presidents Week. Different airlines, different airports, it is a roll of the dice, one security line can be empty and the other can have a long line. Hope this helpes

I fly US Airways out of Logan almost every week and except for Monday mornings, Friday afternoons and holidays, it is very quiet. IMHO, the Logan TSA team is great. They actually smile and treat you pleasantly. Not so at many other airports.
