Anyone know which seats are best to choose on a Jet Blue flight to MCO from Buffalo with plane with rows of 2 seats on each side rather than the 3 and 3 rows? We had our choice of seats but we never fly so didn't know what to pick. Didn't want to pay extra for larger seats so just chose a row near the front. Do the planes load front to back or back to front? Thanks for any info.

We flew Jet Blue on the 2 X 2 planes. LOVED them!!! I took a DD and DH sat with one across the aisle...it was perfect. Much better than the 3 X 3.

The always board the back rows first and then they call the front section. So if you are in a hurry to board the plane, you would want to be near the back. There are usually two washrooms back there too. If you sit near the front, you usually board in the second group or sometimes third, depending on how they want to split it up. But you get off first!!! I think there is one washroom at the front of the plane too.

I always prefer to sit near the front. I like the option of getting off the plane faster. If your kids are young, you get preboarding anyways, so it doesn't matter where you sit, you get to board first. It's not necessary to pay extra for the extra space because I find the JB planes pretty roomy anyways, I would go for the first row of seats behind the premium seats.

The E-190 is not a small plane in my opinion. I've spent a lot of time on its smaller cousin (18 rows compared to 25) and find them to be pretty good planes. They sure don't feel different than "larger" types in flight. If equipped like others I've flown on (never flown on Jet Blue) it'll have leather seats and are quite comfortable for shorter flights. For flights over 3 hours I generally go for the extra leg room seats.

Enjoy your flight!:)

Actually Jetblue will seat those in the Extra Space seating first then start the back to front process. They add advance boarding as a perk recently to the extra space seats.
