Anyone ever used a Coinstar E-Gift card to purchase a Disney GC?

Where I live, I don't know of any Stores that have this feature. All that is available is Coinstar, they are cornering the market with these machines.

It is CoinStar .. and you can cash in the coins for the grocery store gift card. Although I haven't been since the summer, perhaps changed and now they charge for gift cards the same as cash receipt?

I'll have to check again to see if our Local Grocery store offers this. We only have King Soopers and Safeway stores.

Is this banks with coin counter machines an East Coast thing? I have never seen this. None of the chain banks (BofA, Chase, Wells Fargo, etc) nor the local bank & credit union have them around here.

I use the coin counter at the grocery store, which offers no charge for a gift card from them. Then I use the cash I would have spent on groceries towards Disney fund.
