Hi all,

Universal newbie here. I was wondering if anyone has used the kids clubs at any of the universal hotels? How were they?

We will be staying at PBH and are interested in Campo Portofino, though we could possibly take the kids to the one at HRH or RPH for one night, depending on our dinner plans.

Any comments or info will be helpful! Thanks in advance.

We used the one at HRH for our 8 and 5 year olds last year and they had a lot of fun. This yr we are staying at PBH so they are staying at that kids club this yr so we can go to Emeril's again!!! They are really looking forward to it!! I'msure your kids would enjoy it --I've not heard any bad reports!!

Thanks Karen. Do you remember what the cost was by any chance? Do they provide dinner for the kids?

IT was expensive and this year I will have all 3 of my kids (last yr grandma stayed in the room with my 3 yr old because she wasn't old enough for the kids club). But with no grandma on this trip all 3 will be going.

Don't quote my exact numbers but I want to say $8 per hour PER KID and like $10 for each of their meals. I think we paid about $80 for 2 kids while we did dinner at Emerils and that's all we did.--so that would be for like 2 and 1/2 or 3 hours.

This year we are going with friends so I could see dinner running longer--I expect to pay well over $100--but that's what vacations are for--you do so much for the \kids on these trips-- the parents deserve a relaxing evening TOO!!!

I just was poking around and found out that the kids clubs at PBR, HRH, and RPR are all run by kids night out. Here is the linkKids Night Out

We used an in-room babysitter from Kids Night out last year during our Disney trip when we stayed at the Boardwalk Villas. It worked out very well.

Great info, thanks. This is the first time that anyone has ever actually been able to answer the questions about pricing, etc. This question is posted fairly often with rarely a reply.
