I don't know if this is the place to ask this, but have any of you ladies (or gentlemen) ever tried that Mystic tan or any other type of spray tan. We are staying at a resort that has numerous pools that I would like to take advantage of but I am sooooo pale!! Like a ghost...so embarrassing. But I don't like the thought of a tanning salon (skin cancer and all) and the self tanners I've tried leave me looking like an orange striped Zebra! I want to try a spray tan but wonder if it really works and does it fade evenly or leave you splotchy after a few days. Please help.

I love it, but there is definitely an art to it. You need to be very careful when you wipe down to avoid drips. You need to be careful applying the lotion on your palms and bottom of feet where you don't want to tan.
It lasts about 3-4 days and fades naturally.
Hope this helps!

I have used it to and its great. I am seriously pale, I mean I can leave a glare in the summer because I am so pale. I really like it.

Love Mystic Tan!

Definitely do bird arms while in the booth so the color goes into thr crease between your armpit and chest....just trust me. I had to destoy photos because of this.... ;)

i wouldnt even worry about it as im sure there will be europeans that are a lot more pale then you. Plus they will look a lot goofyer with the high socks, sandals, and speedos

I have the airbrush tan done at my spa/salon. It's great and it looks natural. A technician airbrush sprays your body. It is in two stages...one complete body spray...has to dry then 3 hours later another spray. In 12 hours there is a beautiful golden "tan".

If I don't feel like going thru all the fuss at the spa I use, believe it or not Neutrogena micro mist spray. I have to say this is a great alternative and gives the same results. The color is natural and even and it does ot rub off on clothes like other self tanners do. If you do go this route, do not use this in your bathroom...the fumes will knock you out - just like the fumes at the spa. It's the same stuff, except you spray yourself and you don't have a ventillation system sucking up the self tanning fumes. So What I do is put on a bathing suit and go outside and spray. Then you must let it dry...this is with any self tanner, takes 5 minutes. Then you cannot shower for 12 houirs after self tanning. Shower before but do not use a moistruising soap or moisturise after the shower. After 12 hours shower then moisturize...it will make yhou tan look better and last longer. The micro mist is much better than tanning creams...more even and n atural color. Mystic tan I think works the same way. I think you go in a booth and your body is sprayed???

I have never tried Mystic Tan but I do like self tanning. Since you are on the paler side, I would ask about the color. You could try Neutrogena, wich comes in shades. Try #1 or 2 first. If you don't like the color take a bath and exfoliate it off.

My dd used Mystic tan this past summer and loved it. Just remember to start with level one for the 1st time and then do level 2 the second time. Also, remember to put the lotion on your fingernails and toenails as you don't want them to tan. It looks very natural.
