Just wondering if anyone has stayed here at Venetina Bay Village in Kissimmee? We are booked for this summer and was wondering on anyone's opinions of the place...

Hi there! This is my first post after many visits to this forum!

Off to stay at the Venetian Bay Villages on Thursday! :teeth: Staying for 2 weeks so will post a review on my return. Watch this space!

Returned yesterday from a two week stay here. Very enjoyable and a highly recommended resort. Our 4 bedroom villa was comfortable and well equipped and the facilities of the resort were comprehensive (although the main pool was a little cold at times). The complex is well located; Disney via the Osceola Parkway is about 15-20 mins; and you could probably walk to the 192, although this road does get really congested due to road works. Driving time to the International Airport varies between 30 mins and 1 hr depending on the traffic and time of day.

Will definitely be returning. :)

Thanks; it was FAB as usual. The weather was warm and sunny and the parks really light. Cried when it was time to come home!

Welcome to the Dis by the way :) :)

Thanks for the information....BTW, how did your unit owner arrange for key pickup and entry onto the grounds?

Hello! The owner of the property is a friend of mine here in the UK and she gave me the key to the property, entry code to the complex and a code for a lock box on the outside of the property which contained a spare key. Although the entry to the complex is gated, there is a help intercom and it seemed common when we were there for some cars to jump the gates after the previous one had gone through; not that I am advocating this!! From previous experience the rental company provide instructions for this type of thing. I'm sure that yours will be able to help. Just had another thought; there is an office on site at the complex and I approached them about problems we had with our oven. They were really unhelpful, claiming to be only reponsible for the maintenance of the grounds. So dont hold out much hope!
