how was it?
do you have any photos?
We are going to be staying there and i am looking to get a little info on if it is nice, and the rooms /etc.

thank you

Actually, there are 2. The Lagoon Tower and the Kalia Tower. I've stayed in both, and both are very nice. The rooms are spacious and nicely furnished. The balconies offer great views. I wouldn't recommend a studio in the Lagoon tower though since the studio doesn't have a balcony. There is a free laundry on each floor, but not in the units. They have just completed a major renovation of the Lagoon in front of the Lagoon tower. I haven't seen it yet, but I've heard they did a great job. There is ongoing construction of the new Grand Waikikian Tower at the resort. It is a very large resort, and besides the timeshare units, also has 4 other hotel unit buildings. The Lagoon tower is all timeshare, and the Kalia tower is a mix - about 1/3 timeshare and 2/3 hotel.

We're HGVC Members and we love the HGVC resort at the Hilton Hawaiian Village in Oahu.

Here's a link to the virtual tour. Click on the "Resort Area" button for the drop down list.

The rooms are nice. The location is great. Parking is expensive.
The Lagoon Tower is closer to the ocean than the Kalia Tower. (see map - http://www.hiltonhawaiianvillage.com/resort/resort-facts-map.asp#resortmap)
The Kalia Tower has better elevator service than the Lagoon which just has two elevators that are shared by guest and bell services (which means long waits at peak periods).
The Kalia Tower only has studios and one bedrooms
The Lagoon Tower has studios, one, two and three bedroom villas.
The Lagoon Tower is a dedicated timeshare building. The Kalia is a 24 story Hilton hotel tower with six floors of HGVC villas.

We'll be there in a week staying around the corner at the new Wyndham Beach Walk. We've stayed there several times pre timeshare but not as a timeshare. I'll be going over to look around, I can take some pictures if you like. Email me directly and I can send them to you when we return in 2 weeks. Also staying the next week at the Westin on Maui.
