I eat meals too..there or not...what I meant was no dining venue..will govern where I would go that day. I dine where I happen to find myself..sometimes I might have to wait a bit,but never had an issue yet.

Same here. I don't even know what park I'm going to most days until that morning so I have no idea where I'll be 180 days out. I also won't know when I'm going to be hungry 180 days out.

On most trip I make one or two ADRs, almost always not in a park, and then decide where I'm going to eat when I'm hungry.

Did you see the thread yesterday with the planning binders? My husband and I have done 21 WDW vacations and I've never planned anything or made it to a rope drop. I do not know how I have survived without a binder.

I was looking at those photos of binders and picturing myself carrying that binder, telling my family the order in which we are going to do rides, when we are stopping to trot to a meal, etc.

So, in answer to your question, yes I scratched my head just yesterday.

I saw a woman using one of those binders on vacation once. I peeked over her shoulder to look at the pages she was using (on the bus to a park). There was WAY too much information on her pages for them to be very useful because she still had to weed through all of it to get to what she was looking for. If she had just had some 'flash cards' with bullet points for what she wanted to do/see/etc, I think she would have been much better off.

And I hardly plan a trip anymore. I make up a one page excel file with a few ADR #s, park hours, and EMH hours and that's it.

I do not tote a planner around. I place my reservations in my Iphone and i'm done. Maybe attach a small note to the "appointment". NO WAY am I toting around a binder.
