Anyone Ever Rent From This Owner at Windsor Palms--Sunshine Vacation Villas?

I am researching some condos at WP. I stayed there on our last trip, but it was in a townhome, not a condo, and our budget this time is restricting us to condos so I can't rent from the same owner as I did last time.

I have received several quotes, and the one from this owner (who calls the condo Sunshine Vacation Villas) is by far the least expensive. However, I am leery because I cannot find any info on the owner or the condo other than her listing on the windsor-palms-florida.net and disney-vacation-rentals.com websites. She has her own website but it's pretty amateurishly maintained, and the guestbook feature isn't working so I can't read comments from past renters. I did a search on here and can't find any threads about the owner, either. I do have the owner's name but I don't know if it's OK to post it so I won't. I did google her, and the address and phone number for her residence in Michigan that she gave me is legit, but that doesn't guarantee that the condo is good or that everything is on the up-and-up.... I guess the fact that her prices are low is what is making me a little nervous. I wonder WHY the prices are low.....she sent pictures and everything looks fine, but again, pictures don't tell the whole story.

Anyway, just wondering if anyone had any experience with this person.....I can give the owner's name via PM if someone has any info they think can help....thanks!

I have not stayed in this condo or anything, but I had a similar situation with Terra Verde last year. Low prices, etc. The person had just recently bought the townhouse that we stayed at, and that's why the prices were low. It seemed too good to be true at the time, but they were just trying to get renters and hadn't established a base.

It ended up being a great situation, and the townhome was very nice. Good luck!

I did some digging on the Windsor Palms website's forum, where guests and owners can both post, and found many posts by this owner spanning the past few years, so she appears to be legit. I saw where she was semi-recently trying to sell the condo, as well, so perhaps she is not getting as many bookings as she'd like and is just hoping to book it at any price just to keep it from sitting empty.....so it's looking like it's probably going to be fine.
