Anyone ever not feel good after San Angel Inn?

Probably totally me or total coincidence but I have not felt good (really bad stomach cramps) after eating there twice. It's such a shame because I really love it there. I am hoping it was sheer coincidence. I even want to give it one more try but my DH is concerned. He was reminding me of how awful I felt (guess I was complaining quite a lot. ) Both times I ordered the pollo a las rajas (spelling may be wrong) and I loved it!!!!!
Wondering if there has been any other experiences like this? The ambiance just cant be beat. It is a beautiful restaurant and I want to go back!

If you ordered the same thing both times, it's quite possible there is just one ingredient in that dish that is causing you the problems. I'd give it another try and pick something else from the menu.

I haven't eaten there but plan to in April. Maybe the ingredients in the cicken dish just don't agree with you? I know for me I can not eat Tilapia. But other fish is fine.

I go so sick after eating there. Lets just say I spent the rest of the night after that in the bathroom. I cant remember nor do I want to about what I had. My dh and ds were fine. I dont know if we will try again after it reopens.

San Angel Inn is still open. It is the cantina outside that is closed for a refurb.

Don't know about that restaurant but my husband got really sick after eating at the counter service stand in Germany last year. We'll never forget that trip. ;-)
