I've never asked for connecting rooms, but we asked my niece to join us in Dec., and my DD wants the 2 of them to have their own room. I've got CSR reserved and will have a room all to myself (Heaven:p ). Will it be easy to get connecting rooms if it's just the kids (11 & 13) and me? Thanks, Tracey:D

Hello,

We did it once at AS Sports, in Dec of 2000. They wouldn't guarantee the rooms would be connected, but they ended up being connected. I would say the way occupancy has been, it shouldn't be too hard for them to do for you.

Hope that helps.

I would be sure to mention the kids ages when you make the request. They are much more likely to honor your request if they know children are involved.I'm not sure that they would let children that age stay in a non conected room.

6 trips and 6 times we've gotten the connecting rooms we asked for. BUT we have always had young kids. First trip they were, 5,3, &1...in 2000 they were 14, 12, 10,7,5 & 2. So the ages maqy have something to do with it.

As someone else said be sure to mention the ages.

We recently booked 2 connecting roooms for our December trip. If your second room will have only children in it they will guarantee that the two rooms connect. Just tell them when you book (or change) the reservation and they will note it on your confirmation.

We have 4 kids and the way CM always describes the connecting rooms guaranteed policy is that if there are more kids than adults in your party then you are guarenteed connecting rooms. When we travel with our in laws there are 4 adults and 4 kids so the connecting rooms is listed as a request. When we travel alone it has always been guarenteed. We were never able to book rooms listing just the kids in the rooms. They always split dh and I into each room and place 2 kids in each room. Of course that's not how we end up but that is how they have always reserved it. So if it's just you and 2 kids and you book 2 rooms I would think they would have to guarantee you connecting rooms:rolleyes: . Hoep this helps!!

We have never had any trouble, but I always tell them that the rooms absoutly have to be connecting so Grandma and Grandpa can babysit in case our kids want to go out for an evening. They never do but sometimes, almost all the time in fact, one of the kids or two sleep in our room.
