Anyone ever have any luck getting Disney to find missing Photopass pictures??

No, I didn't lose my Photopass card or anything like that. But for some reason our photos with Rapunzel didn't show up in our Photopass file. We have the pictures taken directly before it and directly after it. I have contacted Disney through the Photopass "missing photos" form.... just wondering if there is any hope for these pictures. We were doubly disappointed because DD and I were wearing our lovely lavender Rapunzel t-shirts that day!!

Anyone with any experience with this?..................P
 
We had our pics missing once. It took a little time on the phone, but htey found them and added them to our account. When you call be sure to have the date and approximate. They will also ask for the location, number in the photo and details on clothing and what you look like.
 
We had the same issue that we had the people in front us on our card and missing our photos. The CM found them right away and they were moved to our account. It made me very happy. The can narrow it down by the time frame that you were there and if they have other pictures from that day and know what you are wearing, makes it even easier.

I didn't call. The photopass website has a "missing photos" form that I filled out. I was VERY specific as to date, time, place, description..... I pretty much knew within an hour of when the photos were taken.

Thanks for all of the feedback.... I'm feeling more encouraged now. Thankfully it is really only 2-3 photos that are missing (that I am aware of anyhow:rolleyes: ), but we were really looking forward to them. When we were in Disney in 2011 we waited in line 2 hours to meet Rapunzel, so DD was excited to meet her with just a 10-15 minute wait this time. We did not, however, wait the 2 hours to meet Merida! :eek:..............P
 
I filled out the form online when they lost ours. They found the pictures within a week and found another set I had totally forgot i had taken! The sets weren't even at the same park or from the same day. We got an email when they found them so we could get the CDs ordered.
 
I filled out the online form, too. I had an email within a few hours that they had found our photos!
 
We had photos missing from our card. I had to fill out the form 3 times before they found them, so be insistent. I was very specific "we are missing the photos taken by the photographer in the pirates league right after the children got makeovers" with specific times. They TWICE wrote back and said the pictures of our children dressed up are already there... yes, my kids dress up every day so I had lots of pictures in costumes, but none taken IN the pirate's league... it took the third person before I think they even looked, but we got them.
 
We had 3 missing "groups" of photos this past January. They founf 2 of the 3 in a short time. I tried a second time with no luck!
 
One of ours was missing and it was the one photo DS11 wanted, he was riding Test Track on his birthday.

I had to email them a few times and they asked the same questions so many times I wanted to scream. I had to send them a crazy amount of info but they found it! It took about 5 days.
 
Well..... 48 hours and no reply yet. I think I will go back to the Photopass website and resubmit the "missing photos" form again today. I figure the longer I wait, the less likely it is that they will be found! Thanks for everyone's feedback.... it is truly appreciated...............P
 
Still nothing from Photopass so I did send a second request today. Please keep your fingers crossed. That being said, I did FINALLY see the little blip about uploading my "bonus" content.... and that bonus content was my "Attractions +" photos that I paid dearly for! I hadn't even REALIZED that they were missing from the original Photopass group....................P
 
I'm on my third e-mail with them. We are missing the 'plate' Chef Mickey's photos (we had photo pass+). They are confused since we have photos of my daughter opening Chef Mickey's and there is a group shot of us with Mickey. So they told me they 'see' the photo.
 
We had a bunch lost from our last trip. It was Christmas, and we dressed all the kids up for pictures with Santa. My kids were on ours, but my cousin's family ones were gone. Disney looked and looked, and could pinpoint the exact time, but couldn't find them. They were awesome about arranging for the kids to see Santa again and get the pictures redone

We actually didn't check ours for several months. They were supposed to be gone forever. The CM found them and gave us a new code to access them with an extended 30 days to edit and order the CD. It took them about 4 days to find them and get back to me. Good luck. Usually they ended up on someone elses number and they find them.
 
Just wanted to let you all know that they FOUND the photos! :cool1: We got an email yesterday after sending a second "missing photos" form. The pictures are on my Photopass account now, so I can order the CD! Thanks for all of your success stories to keep me from losing hope and for your suggestions!........P
 
This thread gives me hope I just added my recent photopass number and discovered lots of pics missing I thought I'd they be lost forever but glad to know there's a chance they'll find them.
 
If you only had a couple missing, the photographer probably didn't scan your card. Or if he did he probably put them on another card. I had that happen to us. We didn't get someone (can't remember whom) but we go someone else's picture in my lot.
 
We lost a few last January, so I filled out the '"missing a photograph?" Form on the Disney photo pass website. After describing the approximate time, location and a few outfit specifics, they found them within 24 hours and connected them to our card. Magic!
