Anyone Ever Had To Call Disney Dining To Remove One Person From Crt Breakfast??????

We're leaving for Disney World in 26 days and we've had our Breakfast reservations at Cindy's forever! Just recently we've had to change several reservations because my mother will not be joining us due to a knee replacement. We paid for this breakfast in advance, but we cancelled the credit card due to fraudulent charges. We decided to keep the reservation even though there will only be three of us even though we paid for four. Will they still seat us, even if we are not all present?

Since you have already paid I am sure they will seat you, but why not call Dining and explain the situation and see if they can help you? Maybe you can get a credit in Disney Dollars or something since she won't be joining you? Did the cc company issue a new card number when you canceled? Do they have someway of transfering a credit for the old card to the new card?

I haven't done CRT since the changes--do they go ahead and charge for the entire breakfast in advance? I thought you just had to pay a deposit and have a card on file so if you no show they can charge the rest to it.

I have to call and change our ressies from 4 to 3 for several cc deposit meals (going during free dining) because DH won't be joining us and I don't want to be charged for him.

I know they will still seat you, but they may not refund any charge for the "missing" person. Something similar happened to me a couple of years ago. I booked the CRT breakfast for 8 people and two months prior to the trip, 2 of those decided they weren't going to WDW at all that week. When I called to change the reservation, the CM said I would have to cancel the prior reservation and re-book with the correct number of people. As you can imagine, there was no other availability, so I was left with the choice of paying for the two no-shows or my daughter not having breakfast in the castle. We decided to keep the reservation and had no trouble at all being seated. But we really were charged for the 2 people who didn't come.
