Hi! I was not sure where I should post this but I since I saw other photo pass threads here I figured I would just post it here.

We just got back from Disney on Saturday and the first thing I did Saturday night was go online and enter my three photo pass card numbers. I had already pre-ordered the CD and was so excited to see the pictures. This was a big family trip with both my family and DH's family. Since both his and my parents are split up this is something that doesn't happen often and I wanted to be sure to have pictures! Once I entered everything in and looked through the photos I realized we are missing about 20 pictures, all taken at the same location. These were when we first entered Magic Kingdom and took the time to take family photos, likely the only family photos with both parents either of us will have with our son. Since I had the photo pass card I didn't bother having anyone take pictures with my camera as well. I believe what happen is that the photographer forgot to scan the card. I have sent in the missing pictures form from the photo pass website, but haven't heard back yet.

Has anyone ever had anything like this happen? If so were the pictures found? I hate to admit it but I am freaking out a bit, if it were any other photos it wouldn't be nearly as bad, but these were by far the most important photos we took on the whole trip. :worried:

This happened to us, I called photo pass right away and with the date and approximate time and where you took the missing photos. Photo pass was able to locate my pics YEAH! Also they wanted to know what the pictures were too.
Apparently this is a common occurrence, Best of luck to you :wave2:

This happened to us earlier this year.

I filled out the online form on the PhotoPass website. You choose the location, time of day, describe the people in the photos, etc. I was able to upload a photo we took earlier in the day, so they could see what we were wearing.

Within a few hours, I got an email saying they found our photos!

Good luck!

I have the other experience. We have had pictures lost from our engagement weekend... And after lots of trying by Disney (they wanted to know approx time, location of picture, and our outfits) they were not found :(. I was really upset because that trip was extremely important to us.

This happened to us last year. Not only did they misplace our photos, we had photos on our account that weren't ours. The pictures were of the family the photographer took right before us. We figure he scanned the cards wrong or something. But they found ours and hopefully gave the other family theirs back

Just fill out the photopass lost photos form online. With 20 photos all together they should be able to find them. We lost a few on our last trip and when they found our missing photos they also found some that I had forgotten about!

We've lost photos, and we've also found other people's photos on our card, seems to be a fairly common occurrence. The good news is that if you provide them with enough info about when and where they were taken, they have a pretty good track record of finding them.

Good luck!

How long do they hold the pictures? I bought the photopass plus last year. We took tons of photos, they showed up when I got home but it wouldn't let me transfer them into my computer or a disc. I emailed Disney support and got no reply. The date was fast approaching for the final day to retrieve my photos so I emailed again and no response. I'm sure they are gone and so if the money I paid for that card. :rolleyes2:(

This happene to us as well. They were also able to find our pictures. I described everything to a t but and also send a photo from our personal camera near the time frame so they could see what we were wearing and looked like also which I think may have helped the quick response we received.

This happened to me, as well. Photos taken from 7 different locations were missing from my account. Fortunately, I also have the pictures taken with my camera so I know exactly the date, time, place. I checked my PhotoPass account every night after coming back from the park. Then on my last day of the trip, stopped by a Photo Service center, gave them a list of those missing photos and they found most of them.

Apparently, besides taking your pictures and scanning the card, the photographer also have to enter a few info right then and there, like tag in the place/event/or character associated. If they mis-tagged your photos, they could be misplaced and not found by the Photo Service people.
