anyone ever got the home away from home from skyauction??

What I was wondering is if you win can you take the 100.00 travel certifcate and use it toward another room the same week at the same resort if one is open (like for family to stay in, even though both rooms will be in my name)??

or what happens if you don't use it, do you just lose the certificate??

I have booked two condos for the same week for me and some friends. I booked the second condo reservation in the name of the friend who stayed in the unit.

You can't guarantee that getawayweeks.com has more than one unit available for a specific date. Call them first and ask how many they have available at a given resort.

There is a bit of a delay in winning the second auction, and during the delay, availablility may change. You have to win one auction, get your information, then win another auction and wait to receive that certificate number before booking the second unit.

There are other ways to use the $100 skyauction voucher. Check out the dining certificate auctions. I just got $250 in gift certificates for Antonio's in Celebration for $34 ($134-100).

It might be cheaper with the new fee - to just go ahead and get two certificates

then I know you have two $100 to spend instead of just one. that say are you going next year?
