Anyone ever go to a timeshare pitch at the Sheraton Vistana Village in Orlando?

I got the same offer. I've done MANY timeshare presentations so I'm somewhat fireproof. Some people cannot handle or tollerate them but I find them funny and informative.

I didn't do the Villlage one but did do the Sheraton Resorts one. It was extrememly painless.

If it's worth it to you for the money aspect, check it out. The Villages are a great property and usually go for nearly $200 a night.

Very low pressure - I'd compare it to the presentation at Marriott's Grande Vista. We loved the property but enjoy renting thru Sky Auction or Hotel Kingdom for less than the maintenance fees.

WE actully lucked out. WE got the same deal but we get 100 back AND no tour! I think it was because we are Starwood Club members. I called (we stayed there 3 other times and no tour)and they said if the letter says no tour then it is no tour. I do not get it but I am not going to complain. I figure I will take the tour next year if I cannot get another deal. Must be a record though four visits and still no tour.

Wow! That is a good deal. Was the room a one bedroom or do they have studios there? Is this one of those things you could SAY you got a card in the mail and still get the deal if you knew the phone number and promotion code? Althought I promised myself I would spend my time going to any more timeshare presentations ..................

The letter sent to my home must accompany us to get the rate ,sorry! It was a good deal it is not a studio but a one bedroom.
We are going for 16 days but in order to get a good place at an economy rate we need to change twice. BUT we are paying about 1200 for 16 days at 4 and 5 star villas. If we paid full price we would be paying close to 3000 more!! I can stand a little inconveinence. Sign up for evey hotel "club" you can.

5 days/ 4 nights in a 1 bedroom for $169. Had to pay half when i booked. going wed aug 18 staying till sun. aug 22. my letter states i have to take a tour on that fri at 12 noon. I got this offer in the mail in feb. we are also staying at orange lake cc from that sun till the following sun( no timeshare tour). at the end of the tour you receive a $100 check. has anybody done this tour with children (3yrs old and 1)???? they say its 90 minutes, is it really??? i heard the resort is great.

which village was the one to request again? Im leaving at 9 o clock tonight and need to know which village is the one to request. Thanks

this resort is only 4 or 5 years old. i heard the best buildings are 1 and 3 because of their location to the pool. all the biuldings were built at the same time. you must be talking about vistana resort, this property is much older

Actually V V is in its 5th summer (hard to believe) I was there the first week it opened. All the buildings were not built at the same time there is newer construction only about 2 years old in the north east corner of the resort. My first time there when we used the pool there were maybe 3 other people in it. It was unreal. We got really spoiled . Last time 2 summers ago the pool was really crowded. It think it is time for them to build a new pool.
