I was just wondering. We just returned and we saw them everwhere and I was so tempted to get it for a X-mas gift for my 2 dd's. They cost $65 and I never asked how much more it would be to ship. We didn't have room to pack them so we just decided to forget it.
Has anyone gotten this? It looked awesome and I think miniature princesses were included.
Thanks

My DS got it on our last trip.
Both of my kids love it, they set it up with the monorail and play.
It comes with several princesses and their corresponding prince. Also has a couple light up pieces.
I don't know how much it would be to ship, but you could try WDW merchandising. I don't know the #, but am sure someone will be along soon to help you with that.

My daughter has this and plays with it everyday! My parents bought it for her last year for Christmas and it was well worth the money they paid. She loves it and she also uses it with my sons monorail set and Disney Railroad! I have played with her using it a few times and we have a lot of fun! LOL

We purchased it last week. This is the one thing DD really wanted. I told her we didn't have room to pack it home, that maybe we could have it mailed to us. She hasn't said anything else about it. I went and bought it and hid it in the van. She will get it Christmas Day. I can't wait to see her face.

I emailed WDW merchandising a couple weeks ago about shipping the Castle, and was quoted $10 and change for UPS ground to NY. PA is in the same zone as NY so it should be the same.

a few years ago, when it first came out. We took it out one Christmas when we set up the monorail (we usually buy each of the accessories on our annual trip when they come out with new ones. DDs 15 and 11 don't really "play" with this, but DD2 will play with it with me in a year or so! I think there may be a "cap" on shipping- if you buy everything you want from merchandising at one time (and trust me, it adds up really fast), there is a shipping cost for around 150 and up (I am not sure on the amounts).

Nana bought it in DL for my girls for xmas last year. We love it. If your kids love Disney (what's not to love)_ or princesses they will love this peice.

I found my email with the shipping charges:

Merchandise Value Shipping Charges

$0. - $24.99 = $8.95 Ground(approx) 20 Business Days
= $18.95 FedEx (approx) 7 Business Days
= $22.95 FedEx (approx) 5 Business Days

$25 - $99.99 = $10.95 Ground(approx) 20 Business Days
= $20.95 FedEx (approx) 7 Business Days
= $24.95 FedEx (approx) 5 Business Days

$100.00 plus = $15.95 Ground(approx) 20 Business Days
= $25.95 FedEx (approx) 7 Business Days
= $29.95 FedEx (approx) 5 Business Days

I just ordered the castle on the 4th. It cost me $10.95 for shipping. But it takes 10-20 business days to receive it. I'm hoping it will be here by Christmas, but if not, DD will be 4 on January 7th. They did offer additional shipping of $10, if I want to insure Christmas delivery.

It worth the money we bought it for dd back in 2002 and she loves it still

We just purchased one at the Pop on our trip. We were flying home to Vancouver the next day. I went in and asked about shipping and it would have been $75 to ship. Needless to say we decided to just buy it and try to keep it hidden from our very curious 4 year old twins. Well the girl at the cash register was so awesome. She said there is no way you are going to be able to keep them from seeing this. So she went and got me one from wherever that was still in its cardboard box. Perfect. It travelled well and I checked it at the airport and it was all in one piece at the end of the journey. The girls never saw it in the park stores. They are going to be over the moon. We celebrated their birthday with lunch in the "Castle" so they are going to be so tickled on Christmas morning when Santa has seen that they have their very own castle to play with. I don't usually get them "sharing" gifts but in this case I made an exception. It has got so many little pieces with it. Also Target has a couple of smaller "sets" for 9.99 that can link into the castle as well.

I need to see this now im so curious. I know we dont have the room for it :(
If its as big as I think. We already have a butterfly castle we got at target for dd-7 birthday and when they want to play in it we have to put it up and keep taking it down when they are done. Its a PITB.
Im leaving for the world on Sunday so im sure ill get a look at it. :)

I'm an adult and this is my favorite souvenier from my last trip. It's about 18" tall or so (but it comes in a really big box!). It comes with Jasmine/Aladdin, Sleeping Beauty/Prince Phillip, Snow White/Prince, Cinderella/Prince Charming, and Belle/Beast. Plus it has a couple of furniture pieces. There are "hidden passageways" and the clock actually chimes. It lights up in various places and reveals silouettes of the princesses. I have it under my Christmas tree and the monorail goes right around it, it makes me so happy each time I look at it!!

Wow! Thanks everyone for all your ideas and info. I'm thinking I will definitely get one on our next trip. That would be great if we could get one in the cardboard so the kids wouldn't know. I have a feeling I would like this as much as they would. It looked so real!
Thanks again -

They also sell this at the 5th Ave store in NYC, if that helps anyone........ they will ship from there, too, it might be faster??

Oh so this is a toy not a tent?? I thought it was a tent for some reason. I cant wait to see it now.

PatMcDuck- Or anyone else who may know...
Are you sure they have the castle at the world of disney store in nyc? My dbr works in Manhattan and he will be in for X-mas and he said he would go over and check it out for me.
I just want to be sure that they have it there so he doesn't waste a trip.

Also- Is this located in the same place as the previous disney store that was closed? I read that somewhere but I'm not sure if that's the case.

Thanks for the tip.

Yes, they do have it at the Disney store in NY. It's in the same location as the old one, on 5th Ave (around 56th Street, I think??) I saw it there, and later decided to call the store and have it shipped. It was around 12.00 for shipping. I called on Monday before Thanksgiving and it was delivered on Wednesday! (2 days!!) Much better than calling WDW. DD3 and DS3 both wanted it bad; I hope they like it. They LO-O-VE castles of any kind and a Disney one will just put the icing on the cake!
