Anyone Ever Get Bumped On Spirit Or Flysong Airline

Hi All,

I Love To Get Bumped. Try To Do It Every Year, & Save For Our Next Vacation.

This Year I Am Flying Flysong In Nov For My Dcl Also
For The First Time In Feb 06 Flying With Spirit.

Any Feedback On Either Would Be Great.

Took a bump on Song in Jan 04. They told us max amount they would give is 250 delta dollars, since at the time no seats were over 250.00. We were all on board ready to leave, and they were pretty despriated to get people. DW walked over to the agent and told him for 300.00, he could have 4 seats. A deal was struck.
The flight we got off was a hour late and the next flight was in another hour so it worked out great. They gave us $50.00 in airport voucher money to eat with.

Note of caution, Delta/Song requires you to use the voucher for travel within 1 year.

I Think All The Airlines Bump Tickets Are To Be Used Within One Year.

I Have Been Bumped From Nw, Aa & Delta. I Have Learned To Ask For Airline Money. No Tickets (tickets Are Restricted & Are A Real Problem)

At MCO, I was asked if my family would like to take a voluntary bump-they (Spirit) needed 4 seats. I received 4 RT vouchers that were good for a year. They also put us up in a hotel for the night because the next flight wasn't until the next day. We used the vouchers the next year with no problem at all.

Were you able to make reservations for your 4 Seats on spirirt before hand?

I am going on Spirit next feb & the website wouldn't let me book our seats.
My Father-In-Law was killed in a plane crash. It is very important to my family that we sit together.

Was your family able to sit together?

This is my first Spirit flight, & I am not aware of this. AA always let me pick our seats.
