i made a huge mistake. with the park admission prices going up a ran out and got four 7 day passes from aaa last week to beat the price increase. but now the visa discount will save me $270.00 if i book a package. aaa says no refunds! i guess this one will be a costly learning lesson. any advice??

You won't be able to get a room only discount with Disney Visa, but I would get a one day ticket for everyone and get the package.

What type of 7 day tickets did you get from AAA? Were they non-expire or expire?

Well you can either use that 1 day ticket to upgrade your pass to an 8 day ticket. Or just hold onto each of the one day tickets. As long as you don't use them they won't expire and save them for the next trip.

Not sure if my answer will help in your situation but the question I read was "anyone ever get a refund on park admission tickets?".
We have been refunded for unused park tickets in the past but it was done by a very helpful CM on concierge level using their system. They put the $$ refunded on my room as we charge everything to that anyway so it's not like i actually got cash back or anything.

If you're staying CL, it wouldn't hurt to buy just the one day tix on your package and ask after you get there if they'd consider crediting it back. I can't say I'd expect it but sometimes magic does happen....

Would Disney credit back tickets purchased through AAA? :confused3 Doesn't seem likely, but I really don't know.
If possible, maybe even save the 7 day tickets for another trip. (They are not non-expiring tickets. But will be good as long as you don't use them. Once you first use them, then the clock ticks on them.)
Or as someone suggested buy 1 day tickets with the package and save those for a future trip.
