Anyone ever flown SWA out of Albany, NY?

Hoping to fly SWA out of BUF (Dec 17-Dec 31) but realize that these may be very expensive dates (holiday period, Saturday) so I am looking at other options. We are travelling to the Tampa area but are willing to fly into either TPA or MCO.
I was wondering if anyone has ever flown out of Albany and how it worked out for them. Also, does anyone know how long it would take to drive to Albany from either BUF or the GTA?
