Anyone ever experienced Sky Venture?

Located on I-Drive....
.........I've been skydiving before....and thought my teen dd's might like this "tamer" version!!

I just went yesterday!!!

I went with a group from work, and it was really fun. The instructor said that it really does feel like skydiving, and the only difference is that you actually feel a bit more pressure due to the 120 mph winds that are holding you up.

You can find pricing and information there. It is a bit expensive...$38.50 for adults. Luckily, I went as a work outing and it was paid for. We each had two separate, 1-minute sessions. That doesn't seem long, but it can be quite tiring for inexperienced skydivers.

Keep in mind that beginners are instructed to simply try and learn to stabilize themselves. They won't allow you to try any big tricks or anything. If they see that you're able to remain stable they'll instruct you to try some turning using your arms. You can also control your height by arching and flattening your back. They do keep it simple for the beginners though. Our instructor, Phil, was great. He was very helpful and encouraging, and just had a good personality.

Personally, I'd like to go again and wouldn't mind paying the price if I had some extra cash. It was a really fun experience. Let me know if you have any other questions!

they still watch my skydiving tape and say......."Mom...you are really crazy"...yes its true....
but this should be such a fun experience for them!!!
