Was looking at this excursion on Cozumel. Anyone ever done this before?

We opted out as it was too expensive for such limited time. We rented a Jeep Wrangler instead and toured the island. Much cheaper and still did everything plus more than what the Jeep excursion did.

How/where did you rent the jeep? How much did it cost?

I cannot remember if we used Budget or Alamo but it was one of the major car rental companies and it cost us $55 for the entire day! Some of the major car rental companies rent right at the pier.

That's a great idea. Thanks.

This Disney excursion was a highlight of our cruise! Kids still talk about it and tell stores. The lunch spot was one of the most amazing beaches, surrounded by rocks with a yummy lunch. Our tour guide was wonderful. I can't say enough positive about this! Enjoy

Hello, we did this excursion and loved it! Our daughter was 14 and it truly is one of our best port adventures to date.
We still talk about it today,13 cruises later! Enjoy!:o

We did it; There were great parts and not so great parts. The jeep was a little scary cause we didn't have a rear view mirror and the tour leader didn't think that was a big deal, Driving down there was not my favorite part espically when the tour leader said red lights were optional and not to stop just follow the group; my mom-ness was freaking out a bit. The jeeps looked like that had seen better days. The weather was really windy and the surf was high so we couldn't go in the water but the lunch was amazing!!!!!!!!!! My son had a fantastic time and still talks about it and we went on 2 years ago. It was beautiful and we had a blast! We stopped a light house which was pretty cool; we weren't into whatever booze they were pedaling there but the view was neat. It was worth the money and great experience but i don't need to do it again. hope that helps.

We did a dune buggy exursion(the other group drove a jeep) a couple of years ago, where we followed our tour guide around to different spots in Cozumel. The first stop was to a snorkeling site/restaurant, where we went snorkeling and then ate lunch. The next stop was to a lighthouse on a beach, where we were able to climb to the top of the lighthouse. The next stop was to a beach, but it was too rough to swim. The final stop before returning to the ship was to a tequila tasting tour.
