Anyone ever do Disney with a Bakers Cyst?

So.... I have this bakers cyst behind my left knee. So far the Dr. has no idea what is causing it. No arthritis, no tear. I have tried a cortisone injection and it took away the pain for about 2 weeks only to come back. I will start PT next week for a month. If that doesn't work he will want to do exploratory surgery. My trip is in October so I am nervous about the whole thing. I really just want to leave it (It's not a huge cyst) alone and see if it goes away on its own but I am really worried about what all the walking around would do to it I leave it. Anyone have any experience with this type of knee issue?

I don't have experience with that but my daughter's most problematic joints are her knees (ankles used to be worse but custom orthotics have helped). We get her a wheelchair. She does get up and walk some of time within lands and uses the wheelchair a lot as well. It allows her to enjoy the parks while minimizing the knee pain.

If ice helps., bring ziploc bags and fill with ice from any stand or QS restaurant that has ice whenever you need it.

I have had one in my right knee since last July. Possibly from a sprain. I'm here right now, and it's doing ok. The worse was being in the wave pull and having my knee knocked in a weird way.

When a loved one struggles to get around outside of the house or travelling.... a lightweight transport chair has worked great for us.
