We check out from AKL on next Friday and were thinkin of doing Animal Kingdom that day??? :confused3 Our plane does not leave till 7:20 that night and so I figure the shuttle won't pick us up till 5:00 for the airport. That would give us till atleast 4:00 at the park??

We were just planning on doing SeaWorld one day and enjoying the resort, but since we have to check out of our room we might as well go do something fun!

I have a Boma PS for Breakfast at 8:30 and then I figure we could jump the bus over to AK for the day? What do you guys think? Do-able??? :goodvibes

Thanks,
Michelle

Definately doable and AK is a good choice as its not usually open that late so you won't feel you're missing out :earsboy:

Same here. We always take advantage of more time in a park when we have a later flight. They will hold your luggage up front for you when you check out in the morning. That way you just have to allow enough time to get back to your hotel and catch your shuttle or taxi!

Us too we almost always leave later in the evening (except this trip coming up) and always do one of the parks, Usually Epcot. I think AK is a good choice.

We did this last Thanksgiving, too! We try to schedule our flights so that we don't leave until the last possible minute. At Thanksgiving we checked out of BCV, took the ferry over to MGM for one more trip on Rock n Rollercoaster (YES!) Had a magical "surprise" from another family. As we walked up to RNR we saw the standby line was 90 minutes. We were bummed! As we were deciding to give up and just head back to BCV, a nice man and his son stopped my daughter and I and asked if we would be able to use his fastpasses that were due to expire in 5 minutes. Of course, we took them! Disney magic at its best when someone does something nice without any expectations in return. This made our last park experience awesome for this trip! :Pinkbounc

We are set to arrive at BCV on June 1 at 10am and depart MCO for our trip home on June 10 at 7:30pm. We will definitely be doing some last day park hopping! My DH and DS5 will probably stay and enjoy SAB, so it will be my DD11 and myself riding our favorites one more time! :cheer2: :cheer2:

We usually do. I think this past trip & one short weekend trip when we left on an early flight were the only times we didn't spend Park time on departure day.

We usually save our "2nd day free" at Seaworld for the last day. This time, our flight leaves at 6:00pm, so that leaves us most of the day at Seaworld, we'll probably plan to leave there around 3pm.

We usually drive, so we don't have a shuttle to catch. But, last trip, we'd planned to leave just after lunchtime. So, we headed to MK at opening for that one last ride on Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin, Space Mountain, and TTA. DS and I rode BLSRS 3 times with NO line! And he got to go say goodbye to Buzz with no one around after one of the rides. DH & DD walked right on SM too. By 11-ish, it was starting to get crowded. That's when we just walked around to Fantasyland, around the castle, and up Main St. just one last time -- simply absorbing all of the sights, sounds, smells to last us until our next visit. Unfortunately, that's still over a year away!

We always to this. We like to try to get to all four parks the last day. We start at whatever park has EMH, then hop from there. There's nothing like catching RnR, Mission:Space, Splash and Kali all in one day. It makes leaving not quite so hard. We have annual passes, so we are not wasting a day of our tickets for a partial day in the parks.

We always end up with a later flight home so we take advantage of that time. We usually store our luggage and then head on over to MK to get that last bit of Magic! :wizard:

Absolutely!! We purposely plan or departure time for the last possible minute so we can squeeze in every last bit of magic. :wizard:

It would be kind of hard for us since we usually leave at 8 or 9 in the morning. :teeth: We always like to leave early instead of late on our last day. This is because we like to get home and have the rest of the day to unpack, pick up our pets, and then relax the rest of the day, before going back to work the next day.

I actually did it yesterday! We went to MGM all day until my flight (which left at 10:50pm). The only bad thing is that checkout was at 11am so I had to be stinky from the parks all the way home. Luckily, it was only a 1 hour flight. I'm glad no one was sitting beside me. They may have thought it was Clair De Rume :goodvibes

We will probably be hot and tired, but we can sleep on the plane home. It is only a 2 hour flight for us and then I still have 3 days off to rest before going back to work. :cool1:

I love AK and it is the closest to our resort. I hope I can convince Mom to do this!! She will love it if she gives it a chance! :rotfl:

Might as well make the most of our last day there! :teeth:

We plan to hit the parks on our last day in July! My one regret will be no available shower (we're driving home!)

We always go to a park the last day. Most times we go to more then one, hitting just our 1 or 2 favorites at each.

We always go to Epcot on our last day (this year we went to MK for 2 hours since it opened at 7 a.m. to resort guests).
