Anyone ever bring 14 month old twins to WDW?

Our oldest DS is 7 and has been asking to go for a couple years. We booked a WDW vacation for next April and our b/g twins will be 14 mos. I'm excited, but at the same time scared to death that it will be too hard on the babies. Have any of you taken twins this young and what was it like??

I don't have twins but we did take our ds when he was 13mos old. He was a preemie so he was only 10mos adjusted age at the time. He was pretty easy going, he was just entering the cruising phase so he wasn't too mobile yet. He did really well on that trip with the exception of some of the attractions that were really loud or had special effects like wind & rain (ala Mickey's Philharmagic) were a bit "sensory overload" for him but we just played it by ear and tried to go with the flow.

Definitely use the baby care centers in the parks. Those are really wonderful when you have little ones.

We went when DS was 10 and DD was 15 mo. We hired a nanny thru Fairy Godmothers to come to our room during the day(5 of our 7 days). She took care of DD 6-8 hrs a day which allowed us to have some big kid time with our oldest. We then came back to our resort, got DD, went to dinner and onto the evening festivities with her snoozing in her stroller.

I think this was one of the best decisions we made during this trip so that everyone could enjoy themsleves and DD was not stuck in a stoller 24/7 for a week.

We have taken our twin boys 3 times now, they turned 3 in April. We went when they were 1, on their 2nd B-Day we took the cruise and went to Dis, then we just got back from a trip at the end of July. We also have 3 girls, ages 9, 11 and 13. Our boys are very easy going, so we never had a problem. I missed alot, especially when they were little, because I would take them back to the hotel for a nap,another reason to stay in a great Dis resort,(this trip they just fell asleep in the stroller). I had to stay out of rides with them while dh and girls rode, but hey, I was in Disney and the boys and I hung out in the shade, had drinks and snacks and just chilled. Don't worry, have fun, just be prepared, twins anywhere are extra work, have a plan, go slow. There were lots of threads on multiples in Disney, try a search.

Our twins went for the first time when they were 10 months old, then again when they were 20 months old. and a couple times since. They lvoed it each time! Be sure to schedule some down time & drink plenty of water. Realize that they will not want to go on some of the rides your older child wants to go on and they will absolutely LOVE the Winnie the Pooh playground as the best thing. My girls did not want to leave this area last time we went. lol
