I understand you can buy Annual Passes at the Airport Disney store. Has anyone ever done this and if so, was it a hassle? Our Tiffany driver will be waiting so I don't want to take too long.

Yep. Done this before. Twice. Once was a breeze. Second time their computer was down and we gave up and just went to DD that night and got them there.

Bonus - you still get the 'advance purchase' price if you get them at the airport. woo hoo!

Is the store easy to see as you walk thru the airport? Just trying to save some time. Thanks for the info!

I don't think there's an advance purchase discount on the AP, but there is a DC discount which will be honored at the airport Disney Store if you're lucky enough to have an active one.

There are two stores in the airport and easy to see--keep in mind the airport sells an already activated pass, not a voucher. Or at least they did when I got my first one there in '01.

and everything there at the Disney store. How long does that usually take? Activating my pass is fine for the day we arrive. Hopefully, getting it at the airport would take less time than having to walk over to MGM or Epcot to get one when we arrive at the Dolphin. What do you think?

WDW passes do NOT use photos.

The APs are activiated, but your finger scan is not recorded on the little strip until the first time you use them. Should not take long at all.

I always get mine at the International Gateway over at Epcot (the entrance near the Dolphin) and it is a breeze there.
