Anyone ever been to a DVC presentation in their home town?

DVC is having presentations in Boston next weekend and DH and I are trying to decide if it's worth going to.

It's only 30 minuts away, but we'd have to get babysitters.

Has anyone been to a local presentation and is it good and worth it?

When they came to Strong Museum in Rochester NY it was great. Lots of freebies, a fun presentation, SUPER deals and food and characters after! Very worth it.

Went to Chicago presentation at Doorway to Dreams. If you are considering buying I think you should definitely go, but I wasn't buying and had a great time. As op said, giveways, food, entertainment, made it worth it.

Do they do the travelling presentations often? Is there a schedule somewhere so I could see if there any planned for my area?

Definitely go! And take the kids... there are tons of characters and fun stuff for the kids. We went to the one at Doorway to Dreams and had a blast. I can't wait til they come back! My 3 and 6 year olds had a blast at the dance party they had afterward with the characters.

Of course we walked out with 100 point add on, cause my husband is a soft touch!

You had to get an invite and I believe most of the slots are full. Call your guide and see if they can get you in. It's for current members. I'm trying to decide whether I should wait for the show to add on BLT or do it now Anyone have any thoughts on what the discounts might be at the show?
