Anyone ever apply at the Casting Center?

Just curious.

When I first moved to the Tampa area, I was unemployed. I always dreamed of working at WDW and decided to apply and see what happened.

I filled out the job app and sat through the movie that they show you. Then I talked to one of the hiring personnel. It turns out that cast members don't make too much money.

I didn't take the job for various reasons; earnings, travel distance, etc. but I did get a cool pen out of it.

Maybe one of these days, I'll get fed up at my current job and try it again.

Speaking of that, where would I send my resume to apply for a more "professional" position at WDW?

Thanks.

Never, but the idea of everyone being "cast" makes me laugh. I imagine a room full of women of all shapes and sizes, all lined up. The "casting director" looks them over: All right - you'll be Snow White - you'll be Cinderella - you'll clean the toilets....

You could go to Disneycareers.com, but I find that website to be somewhat lacking.

I know there is a job hotline, I just need to find the number.

I am graduating from college in May, and I would like to get a "professional" job at WDW.

If I find any more information, I will let you know.

I applied at the casting center the second time around. Cool place!

Sometimes I wish I worked in a profession that is needed at WDW. I loved being a CM.
