YOU HAVE to let us know what you get. I must admit that I am thinking of taking a personal day when the one opens near me. I will schedule my Dr. Appt in the afternoon and then not feel guilty. I am sure my blood pressure will be like 1000 when I go if I have gotten as much as my friends daughter got. AHHHHHHHHHHHH free make-up what can be better?

I never did make it to Nordstrom the day it opened. I was going to try and make it later in the day because I had to go to the hospital to observe a c-section that morning. I'm a Surg Tech student. Anyway, I got home from the hospital at 11:30, checked the internet to see what was going on for the Norstrom grand opening, and found out that the "makeup tailgate party" was from 8:00am to 10:00am. So I didn't even bother driving up there then. It's an hour's drive for me.

But I've been to Ulta several times to make up for it. I finally got the snow bunny bronzer. I like it but it took me a while to figure out how to put it on. I use it like I used blush, is that right???? I got the Too Faced Lash Injection mascara and love it too. I got the Hot Chocolate. It can flake, but the flakes brush off really easy, instead of staining my under eye area making me look like I hadn't slept in five days. I also bought some Too Faced "Totally Toasted" eye shadow. it! I think I found my favorite brand.

Oh, and I think I bought about four bottles of OPI since I last posted. And I'm NOT allowed to ever wear it to the hospital! That's sad. I need to find the local chapter of OPI-A for a twelve step program or something.

Snow Bunny Bronzer - I kinda use it along my whole cheek bone - and then use blush (NARS...gosh, which one do I like right now - OH!) Outlaw on the apples of my cheeks.

Since this thread started, I took a trip to WDW. In France, $30 on eyeshadow seems nutty to me. But theyre beeee-yooo-teee-fullll!

I got it in Night Fever. The picture for Night Fever does not do it justice. It is PERFECT! It's this amazing perfect color. Angels sing when I wear it. I LOVE IT!

ALSO - has anyone tried the Nivea Lip Line?? Holy guacolmole!!! It's fabulous!!!! I loooove the Q10 one for nighttime, and the 'kiss of shine'?? Guess who's singing when I wear it? You got it! Angels!!! Love it!

I can't wear it as a student.

I only do clinicals on Mondays and Tuesday, the other days of the week, I can wear it. Sometimes, I got a call asking if I want to come see a c-section though. So, even if I painted them that day, it has to be completely 100% totally off before I go. Not even a little stuck to the cuticles or corners. Something about little microbes getting trapped in the sticky nail polish, drying on there, and possibly flaking off into a patient. I'll be sent home if my instructer sees it.

Yeah - use it as your whole cheekbone color. Then use 'real' blush on the apples. I love the way it looks.

But I have to keep in mind, Im darker skinned.... Greek & Italian - how dark is your skin?

I actually found Snow Bunny cuz a cocktail waitress had it on, and I was like 'What color blush do you have on?!?!?' Now she was much more fair - and she had it on, only as a blush.

How dark are you?

I use a medium foundation. I'm Italian Irish.

As for lip color. I love my Boxum Lips in man, the print is so small! Candi. I love the way it feels when it is on too.

Yeah - youre probably better off doing what I do. Whole cheek bone is Snow Bunny. Apples of cheeks are your blush!

I dont think Ive ever tried Boxum Lips! It sounds fun!!!

Also, I need a red lipstick or gloss but I can't find one that doesn't make me look like a street walker. I have brown hair, blue eyes and am fairly light - Cat can you help?

I just got some Bare Minerals from Sephora the other day - the kit in med. I really like it, especially that silicone stuff that you put on first, but no one seems to be able to tell the difference - even when I ask! Oh well, as long as I like it!

None of these glosses are sticky - at all. Youll like them.

Red lipstick is a toughee. Have you tried something very neutral like Revlon's Cherries in the Snow?

On items like red lipstick, things I wont use very often, I tend to lead towards cheap. My red lipstick is that NYC brand. 99 cents.

I buy the NYC brand too for something like that - I'll have to see if they have a red. Plus, I love the look of that Nivea gloss...I'll have to check that one out!

I am bringing back this old thread because my blush just broke apart in the pan and you guys all got me lurking over at make-up alley, now I must have a NARS blush. Tell me which one are the best. I'm pretty sure I have cool skin (lots of pink in it). I plan on going to Sephora and get advice from a salesperson there too.
