Anyone Else Wear Glasses? Wondering about rides...

I asked this once for DW, but I feel like Universal is a different situation. When I went on rides at DW, I was able to wear my glasses using one of those straps to keep them on. Does anyone have experience with rides at Universal? All 3 of us wear glasses, and only one of us could get away with leaving them behind for the day. Should I buy the straps? Plan on placing them in a pocket for each ride? Will we actually need a locker?

Would appreciate any and all tips/advice! Thanks!!!

You're fine with glasses...keep 'em on...strap is recommended, for some rides.

BTW, most think of DW as Dear Wife, on this site... Disney World is WDW:-)

Hooray! I will be sure to snag straps for the littles--so glad to hear this though :)

My husband and son both wear glasses and they have never come off once........

We do all the rides including all coasters. Never needed straps either, but maybe for your little one if they're a bit looser on them.

My son lost his on the mummy ride once. I think it happened when the vehicle changed direction. It's a fabulous ride but somehow he managed.

I lost my glasses on the Men in Black ride when it spun around quickly. Luckily, I was able to get them from lost and found the next day.

Same thing I do for Disney. I wear my glasses on rides that don't go upside down with nothing. Rides that go upside down i wear a strap. I did take them off for Rip Ride Rocket and Hulk because those are a little more intense then all the others.

I wear the straps...I've had mine come off w/o straps when getting sweaty and I'm blind without them....So always straps for me! I also use the "Fitover" sunglasses (Cocoons brand) with a strap.

I rode them all multiple times with glasses on, but agree with your assessment. The only time I felt in danger of losing my glasses was Hulk. That's just a testament to how awesome that ride is. I'd recommend a strap for that and RRR. Basically, a good rule of thumb is if they are making you go through a metal detector and tuck your lanyard, you might want to secure those glasses too.

Went on Dragon Challenge with glasses and never felt like ai would lose them.

I haven't lost or almost lost mine on anything, but I have not ridden Hulk, Rip Ride Rocket, or Dragon Challenge. Forbidden Journey and Men in Black were no problem. However, at WDW, I almost always lose my glasses on Rock N Roller Coaster.

I wear my glasses on every ride, and never had a problem with them coming off.
