It's on at 10 pm eastern on Mondays on A & E. It's about Southwest Airlines employees & the real-life situations they deal with at Chicago Midway & LAX.

Did you see the 1/12 show about the BMX team & sponsers that went nuts on a flight. Some passengers were in panic mode as they exited the plane. The pilot reported he couldn't persuade their group to be seated even during turbulance. Kids running up & down the aisle, etc. MF this, MF that. After much discussion by SWA authorities, one of the sponsors was denied boarding on the connecting flight.

Anyways, I really like this show. Anyone else see it?

I wished I had seen it--I forgot it was on :( I plan on catching it next week.
I am a big fan of Airport on BBC America. Not too long ago, they had an Airport Marathon. I didn't get much done that day! In case you haven't seen it, it doesn't focus on one airline but rather on Heathrow Airport in London.

I caught it the other night really by accident---channel surfing!
I will definitely be a regular watcher!

My DH and I have really been enjoying this show. I'd love to see the BBC/Heathrow version.

I have caught two episodes and I am amazed at the way these people act. I know I could never be a manager because I could NOT kiss those peoples A$$. I also watch the dream house show that comes on before it.

I love it! I really disliked the woman with the two pre-teen boys--You know, the one who was trying to get back to San Diego, but she showed up only 20 minutes before take off. She was very "it's not _my_ fault" and a total loon. I felt bad for her children.

Also, two episodes now where ticket agents did not believe that the children were under two, therefore the parents had to pay for their tix. WHOA! The parents got so hostile!

Personally, I hope airlines start outlawing lap babies/children all together. It is just so unsafe. Parents should have to buy a seat and put the babies in a carseat in that seat. I could only imagine hitting a few air pockets and a child flying through the air. Shudder. Plus, I wouldn't want to be hit by a flying baby. I can't believe the parents on Airline would argue over a $300 ticket. I'd pay $1000 to keep my children safe. Or else I wouldn't travel. This has always been a sore spot for me, and seeing it on Airline really had me frustrated.

Don't even get me started on the BMX'ers.

Or the poor smelly man.

I love that new show. It is the only "reality" tv show that my hubby will watch with me. I just wish they'd change the time cause it is on past my bedtime :( cause 5am comes real early at my house! I would love to watch the BBC version. I'll have to look for it on the cable box.

Kinda puts a new spin on customer service, doesn't it? You couldn't pay me enough to put up with the nonsense that those poor people have to face daily. I love those behind the scenes shows - they really show how great some people can be under the greatest of pressures. I've always enjoyed SouthWest anyhow. Didn't you just love the guy who was giving the poor girl a hard time about checking out his rifle?? Did he think he could just waltz onboard with this huge gun without being stopped? Just because he's an "expert"? I hate that attitude!

DH and I are loving this show. He is an police officer in an airport, so he has first hand dealings with these situations. I figured because of that he wouldn't want to watch, but I guess it is shop talk now. :p

I confess! I love it!

I grew up as an airline brat, so it's a treat for me!

I also loved the 'It's not my fault" lady. DUH! What planet is she from? Everywhere you turn, they say to get to the airport an hour before. I also felt for her sons. They had to be thinking that Mom was being a Psycho.

I AM SO HOOKED ON THIS SHOW!!!!

I heard about it when I was back home on and break and it is now my Monday night @ 10 show.

I fly Southwest back and forth to and from school so it is great to see them following Southwest.

I understand some airline personnel refer to lap children as 'projectiles'. I can't believe people care so little about their children to leave them unprotected. I don't remember the exact number, but the number of children injured (some SERIOUSLY) because of turbulance is astounding (at least to me).

I'm so angry I forgot to watch it! I'm not normally into watching the reality type shows, but because I fly SW I thought it would be interesting to see what goes on behind the scenes...

PLEASE can someone tell me what the story was behind that younger woman screaming at the older woman saying she didn't need to be in the wheelchair ???

And - were those children actually over two - and the parents were just trying to get them a "free ride?"

I can't believe I haven't watched that show yet!!!!!

Cant tell you anything about the wheelchair thing but in the last episoae I saw they did get the hosp. to fax the birth record as proof. In the first episode they bought the ticket and would get a refund when they got home if they showed proof. They called the hosp. but they did not have a record.
