:sunny: I bought a sampler of "Gnu Bars" after reading about them in Womens Health magazine as having one of the best sources of fiber (12 grams), and they were really pretty good - didn't taste like sawdust! My favorites in order are the chocolate brownie (but they are REALLY chocolate-y), orange/cranberry, banana walnut and last the cinnamon raisin (but even it is pretty good). I've been having them in the morning with a cup of green tea, and it seems to hold my hunger until lunchtime with no problem - unusual for me! And only 130 cals! :goodvibes

I'll have to look for some tomorrow when I make a Trader Joe's run. If they don't have it I'll try Wegman's.

Thanks for the heads up!

where did you get them?

 I just ordered them off their website, and they arrived via UPS in about 4 days:

There is also a place on their website that you can email them for the nearest dealer and also a request that you can print out and take to a retailer near you with all their info that tells the retailer you would like them to carry their products.

Thanks for posting about these! I'm always looking for more ways to add fiber to my diet and if DD likes these it sounds like a good substitute for the granols bars she likes in her lunch or for a snack. I just ordered some of each of the flavors from their website so we can try them all.

Glad I saw this thread! Very interesting! I am very "into" fiber!
Remember your water when having lots of fiber!
I want a sample..............heeeee

I just ordered one of each, I couldn't find them around here so I'll try then and then probably join the monthly club. :)

Can't hurt to try.

I ended up ordering two flavors too!!!! I hope they come today. My money was "taken" on the 26th.................
I sure hope they are NOT tasteless............but taste good.........

I got mine a few days ago and so far DD and I have tried the chocoalte brownie and the orange cranberry, We both thought they were quite good in fact DD even asked if she can take one in her lunch sometimes! I am seriously thinking of joining their monthly club.

Today is Saturday ........nothing yet............. :confused3

hey thanks for the info---- i just sent for a retailer list for my area. i hope there is one. did anyone have luck at Trader Joes? Whole Foods market??

i usually get the Pria bars for 2 pts, but this sounds like a better punch for the points!

You can send for a retailer list ? in your area??? How do you do that? Let me know....
I finally got my shipment Monday (2nd)....I did not open and taste yet.
Will probably have one today......Let's hope it is tasty! :goodvibes

OH, on the topic of Fiber....I bought the product "Fibersure"....powder that you can blend with your baking products....or cooking products...or in your smoothies, or anything! It adds 5 gms of fiber per serving. I added it to my soup the other night and OMG, ummmm gas? you know where I am going with this. gosh! I don't understand ....I have had cereal with twice the fiber ! and never had gas issues, yet this teaspoon full created....lots of..... :rolleyes1
So I sure am hoping this product from GNU will not cause me any gas issues!
Has it done that with anyone here?

I am suppose to be getting mine today by UPS. I just ordered a few of each flavor. I have heard good things about them. Has anyone tried the Peanut Butter ones? I am hoping they are worth the money! :thumbsup2
