Anyone else think Lights, Motors, Action! is a waste of time?

Hope I don't get flamed for this, but DH and I thought Lights, Motors, Action! was a COMPLETE waste of time! I thought the beginning was kind of neat and that the very last stunt was cool but the rest was BORING! It took FOREVER to get in, FOREVER to get started and FOREVER to get out. It was VERY loud and just a big waste of our time. We much rather would have been doing something else. Am I the only one who thinks this attraction is a waste of time?

P.S. We liked Soarin' a lot and EE was CLOSED when we were there :(

We've never seen and it and have no desire to. If I wanted to see a bunch of stunt cars I watch an action adventure movie or go to a nascar race and wait for a crash. However, I've heard of plenty that really enjoy it. I suppose it all depends on what your cup of tea is

I loved it- it's a great show and very much worth seeing atleast once. That being said I do have a problem with the way they present it- like its a real movie set, that just annoys me.

I thought the stunts were cool, but found the storyline boring. Too much time in between stunts for our kids who grew restless. Finale was good. I wouldn't say it's a must see for our family.

No flaming from me (I don't believe in flaming :sad2: )

We really liked the show though and we look forward to seeing it again this year. :thumbsup2

I found the show to be very slow paced and boring. Nothing looks real. I don't see the attraction lasting at MGM very Long.

I thought it was just "okay." Not too exciting, rather entertaining, and it had its interesting moments, but I expected it to be rather "canned" and that's about what it was. No big deal, okay to do it once and then I can say I did it, but I don't need to go back (although I probably would if the kids wanted to do it.) But then, I feel the same way about Indiana Jones. It was nice but not a big thrill for me. So what? It's entertainment. ;)

I enjoyed the show, but the ordeal required to see it is pretty ridiculous, and it is sort of slow-paced. I think it could be trimmed by about 5-10 minutes. I'll try it again this year and see if it holds up to a second viewing for me.

I thought the show was ok. But that's about it. I think the best part was seeing Herbie the Lovebug. I've only seen the show once and that's probably enough for me. My biggest gripe was the seating. Those bench seats with no backing have to be the worst seats in any of the parks.

I saw it once, and have no desire to return. It was a long, slow line to get into the stadium. And it just seemed like I seen it before, or just too similar to other stunt shows in the area. And the typical "get the cute kid" to come up and pretend to do something - just seen it before. And the "educate" us angle, with the announcer explaining everything - yawn. Just follows the formula of every other stunt show. Half way through I wanted to leave. Just not my thing, I guess!

We love the Motor Stunt show here, although after seeing it multiple times the jokes are getting really, really old. :rotfl:

I thoroughly enjoy Lights, Motors, Action every time I go to the Studios. I have seen it three times now and I enjoy it every time. I also am a huge Indy Racing fan and have a big appreciation for good driving. I'm sorry to hear that it wasn't magical for you. If you aren't into cars or anything like that, i can see why you wouldn't like it so much. At least you know for next time that you don't have to go to that attraction and spend your time doing things you really enjoy.

We liked it. Unfortunately they blew a tire and had to stop the show for about 5 minutes and make repairs to the vehicle. We got a few good things in. Then it started pouring and they cancelled the rest of it. My son loves cars and car chases and racing and he loved it. We didn't wait in any lines We arrived about 10 minutes prior to show time and walked right in. A lot of people were mad because they'd been waiting about 30 minutes. Of course when it started pouring, it was chaos.

I think seeing it at least once is a must, but I would not see it again unless I could just walk up and get a set. :crazy2:

I thought it was over long and boring but my son (10) loved it so I reckon we'll have to spend some more time there next trip

We enjoyed it and want to see it again sometime. Now that we know what will be happening, we can actually be looking in the right spot to catch everything.

We saw it once and that was more than enough. I thought my dh and son might enjoy it, but they really didn't. We thought it was boring.
