Anyone Else Teach in Disney Ears Every Day!?!?!?!?

I teach third grade, have a Disney-themed classroom, and teach in Minnie ears every single day! I have 51 pairs of ears and pick whichever pair matches my outfit as soon as I get to school every day! The students love it! I figure I might as well make it magical!

I just have to say - this makes me smile so much! I used to teach freshman in high school, and I wish I'd thought of wearing my ears! Now I teach virtually...and maybe my zooms should include Minnie ears!

That's so fun! I work at a preschool, and while I totally could wear mine more often, we have lots spirit days where I usually find a way to don a pair according to the theme. We have Wish Week coming up, and one of our themed days is literally Mickey/Minnie Mouse day!

Haha, I love it! As a math professor, I’ve never rocked Minnie ears in class—though I might if I could find some calculator themed ears or something. Keep making it magical—your students will definitely remember you!

I can't begin to tell you how much I love this! I bet you are a wonderful teacher!

I just retired from 3rd grade (June 2024). My entire classroom was Disney themed. Posters, motivational signs, etc. I used a lot of Disney during my teaching years.

I played Disney music all the time--had the kids get up and dance with me! It was so much fun.

"Hakuna Matata" was my theme song. Poor kids today have so much stress and anxiety. I loved that I could make them smile everyday!
