Anyone else read the Dave Barry article slamming D/FW airport?

I usually don't read him, but did this time. If you can, you should catch it.
We flew into DFW last May and crossed that airport off our list. And that was in good weather.
Love the quote,
"...we taxied for about a mile, at which point the pilot stopped the plane and informed us that we would be waiting there for AT LEAST TWO MORE HOURS, because there were 40 planes ahead of us for the de-icing procedure, which was apparently being performed by a lone worker with a windshield scraper."
Our experiences coming and going from DFW always seem to involve about 40 planes in front of taxing the runway.

... because you ain't getting out of there anytime soon. The hub airlines usually let people change flights to the next day at no penalty when this happens; the delays are legendary.
