I miss the good old days of chicken and meatball stew and a trifle the size of your head. Enough for 4 people to split. Anyone else miss that? I can't seem to find the "Steakhouse" menu that exciting and haven't gone back since they changed it to that menu. Too bad they don't still have the chicken and meatball stew b/c then I could get the recipe.

1) I still remember when it was a buffet/cafeteria style meal.
2) The steaks were GREAT even then.
3) I am not enamored with the way things have turned in the past 2-years.

have you tried looking at some of the older cookbooks that have been sold at Epcot over the years? you may find that receipe....

I did find some online - but not the one you mentioned:
http://www.allearsnet.com/din/rec.htm

also on another board is someone who claims to have that one:

look at the post dated 1/3/2007

good luck!

I agree, it was cool, quiet and the chicken and meatball stew was my favorite. We used to go all the time for lunch. We have been to the steakhouse a few times but much prefer the old menu.

i have the chicken and meatball stew recipe in an old disney cookbook. now if i can only find it....

I just looked through an old WDW cookbook of mine but couldn't find it.

But I saw recipes from a bunch of restaurants I forgot all about!!
