Remember the original Halloweentown (yes I know they still show this entire series - and I love it!), The Scream Team, Moms Got A Date With a Vampire, Twitches, Hocus Pocus, Littlest Vampire, etc. etc. Every year it seems they replace these with newer ones. I really would love to see the older ones!

Disney's Halloween Treat anyone?

This was my kids FAVORITE Halloween show. We had it on VHS (taped off tv) and they watched it so much we ruined the tape. They never play it any more and it's not available to buy. Silly Disney....I'd pay big bucks for a copy of that on DVD.

Yes, we LOVE these!! A couple of years ago Disney did 31 days of Halloween (or something like that), and they showed a Halloween movie every night of October. They showed a lot of these (and some more than once). It was great! I'm hoping they do something like that again this year. :)

The movies should start coming on within the next few weeks.

pat fan - for some reason I don't remember that show! I agree about having them on VHS though - our Scream Team got taped over & they never seem to release the Halloween movies on tape (or DVD). I'd pay big bucks for that too!

I do remember the 31 days of Halloween - I can't find an October Disney Channel schedule - but I'm keeping my fingers crossed! I do see that Halloweentown High & Twitches are on the Disney Channel website as Disney Original Movies, but none of the other older ones.

As much as I love the old ones, I really do like Wizards of Waverly Place, and the movie they just made. I'm hoping they make a Halloween one as well.

The reason I love Netflix so much is that if those don't come on, I can always get 'em through Netflix. They have the widest seleciton of movies.

OMG they have these through Netflix?!??!?! I'll join just to get those!!!

Where'e the Haunted Mansion?? And what about Hocus Pocus? I know that's not a Disney movie, but they're showing it on ABC Family's 13 days of Halloween.

AWESOME! Thanks for posting the list! I see a few oldies on there, but not my faves, The Scream Team or Hocus Pocus. So you say ABC Family will show Hocus Pocus - I'll be looking for it!

I LOVE Haunted Mansion too! We have that on DVD & watch it throughout the year. Ok, well, I beg the kids to watch it throughout the year, it's mostly me that wants to see it!

I found the ABC Family Schedule, but it's too long and messy to post. It has descriptions and stuff. Anyway, Hocus Pocus is supposed to be on Oct. 24th.

I miss the "old" Disney Channel, period. I'd love to see more classic movies, Halloween or not, on The Disney Channel.

I'm also surprised that The Haunted Mansion isn't on the October schedule.

As someone who was raised on the original Disney Channel backin the 80s I miss Mr. Boogedy and the Bride of Boogedy. Thankfully my brother found a DVD copy online and sent me one. Poor quality but I'll take it. We also use to watch the Dinsey Halloween special as a PP mentioned. Taped it off the Disney Channel. Too bad the tape broke years ago.

Hocus Pocus is another good one, as is the Haunted Mansion. But I'd love to see a few older shows.

I'm sure they'll do the 31 days of Halloween again, it seems like they do every year. However, the Twitches movies do tend to make me want to bang my head against a brick wall. They are painful to watch.

I love the old Disney Channel movies!!! I just watched H.E. Double Hockey Sticks the other night and it made me miss all of them. I used to love Zenon :lmao:

YAY Hocus Pocus on ABC Family! I already wrote in in pencil on my calendar. Thanks for finding that!

You can catch those old halloween movies in the early morning. Just go to the Disney channel website and you can see the complete schedule from 12:00 a.m.-11:30 p.m. Right now it only goes through Tues the 27th though. But I grew up in the 80's so when I say old halloween movies I mean Mr. Boogedy and the Canterville Ghost. Stuff such as that.

Ok, I do know that Hocus Pocus will be on ABC and I think the Haunted Mansion (always a classic) the fiance came up with a good idea. We are having another Disney movie countdown in which we have a long list of Disney movies or movies that remind us of Disneyland so he put some of the old Halloween Disney movies I found Halloweentown on youtube as well as House of Villians which was a special from House of Mouse.

My girls comment on this every year in October. Under Wraps is their favorite Halloween movie. I like Hocus Pocus! :thumbsup2

i really miss the old disney halloween movies... boogedy, hocus pocus, icabod, under wraps...

but what i really want to see... the worst witch! i would die happy, if they would put this on tv again... i don't even think it's disney's, but they used to play it a million years ago.

youtube is a great place to watch all of the old disney movies (i.e. halloween treat, disney halloween, maybe mr. boogedy), the only problems i have are with the quality and the fact that everything is in parts, but i'll take what i can get lol...i was actually just on it watching a disney halloween when it went down for maintenance , but i'm sure you could find just about all of the older specials
