Disney Wisher- 2nd floor of Train Station? Now I know what Dustin (the first
responder to this thread was talking about) I'll have to check that out next time.
As far as the little kids with that first "Mommy I see the Castle" moment?
Nothing and I mean NOTHING warms my heart more than when I witness such moments. I feel like hugging the little one as if they were my own.
A tear to my eye? More like tears. 'Cause at that moment you're witnessing another one who's got it and knowing it will stay with them forever.
The pure unspoiled expression of childhood innocence. It lights up the day.
Some might say that is the underlying theme that keeps the hearts connected to Disney. Because that childhood innocence should have never been broken in humanity to begin with. You find your own heart inside wishing you could return to little size and celebrate all over again with every child you see getting their first spark of WDW. The joy of children at Disney
makes me smile that could probably light up all of main street if I could transfer the energy.
Unfortunately sometimes nothin' makes me sadder when I look at a parent and smile while they are with their toddlers, and smile in sympathy as a way to say"what a beautiful child you should be proud", some get what I mean and a lot don't.........maybe they are just in a bad mood or the days of having the confidence of blind trust to your fellow Disney"neighbor",are gone.
It's a shame ..understandable that thanks to crime involving adults to children
some parents first instinct is to think "what are you smiling at my child for?"
while dozens of reasons go through their head, none of which match your intentions........Oh well can't give up. Can't let the sun go down on
everything Disney stands for in our hearts. Part of what I loved as a kid
going to WDW during the 70's was once you got in the park, nobody's a stranger, everybody was there to share in the same spirit, you could SMILE
at anybody and get a SMILE back.
But......it does become more of a challenge when arrogance, the poison that
destroys all harmony and rapor raises its ugly head in too many hearts of society at once. Humility must be continually fought for and maintained no matter what though, no days of bright happiness without it.
Pixie Dust- yep ,up on the right hand side of Main Street, about halfway down, the flower carts and benches. Miss them too........
As a kid I appreciated the visual, as an adult I'm missing it for what can still be a beautiful setting for pictures.
One last thing the ratio of views to responses of threads here is AMAZING.
All of you viewing this thread, C'MON, don't tell me you don't remember the arcade and have a story or two of your own? TELL IT.
Well back to struttin' them city streets and kickin up highway dust ,look
forward to more responses. I know you're out there.
