Anyone else miss Tapestry of Nations?

Phil..

No worries, I thought Captain EO was awsome!

PS I listened to the Wayla CD all day today in the car!

I looked again today at the scrap book my niece made for me of the Millenium Events in the Year 2000. It has a lot of the park and event guide, and some pictures as well.

I bought myself a nice gift from EPCOT that year of the Tapestry of Nations Framed Pin Collection, it is always nice to pass by everyday and remember the event.

I loved the Millenium Village because you got to see some other countries and also to try some unique cuisines each day.

I also have the EPCOT Park Music CD for that year, and the VHS video. The CD comes with me on Disney Vacations too if I am using a Car Rental, it is great Disney music to go from Resort to Park and more with. Heck we play the CD even from my home to the local airport on the day we are going on the trip. I still get excited when I see the Purple Gateway Entrances to Disney.

Mike: Did you get to see the Tapestry of Nations Parade for New Years Eve December 31, 1999 or when it opened?

Phil

That was my all time favorite parade. I have a DVD with the music and I play it frequently.

This was our favorite Disney parade too. (which is saying something since we live in California) If you camped out by the gates in Germany, you got to watch it twice in one sitting. :)
